2019 AAPM Annual Meeting

The 61st Annual Meeting and Exhibition of the AAPM will be held in San Antonio Texas, home of the world-famous River Walk. Tucked quietly below street level and only steps from the Alamo, it provides a serene and pleasant way to navigate the city. Ride a river cruiser, rent a bicycle or take your time sight-seeing on foot. With fifteen miles of sidewalks and paths, the River Walk provides something for everyone, with access to museums, the historic district, hotels, shops, and restaurants.

Our meeting will be held in the Henry B. González Convention Center, which is nestled in the heart of historic downtown San Antonio, along the banks of the River Walk. With its recent $325 million expansion, the modern comfortable meeting space features natural lighting and impressive artwork, and is just a short walk from many surrounding hotels.

The meeting program for this year is outstanding, offering scientific, educational and professional symposia, courses and workshops spanning the range of medical physics topics. In addition, the technical exhibit provides the perfect opportunity to connect with vendors, learn about new products and services, and seek technical support.

The theme for the meeting is “Building Bridges, Cultivating Safety, Growing Value.” Come and build lasting partnerships with colleagues and vendors, learn how to cultivate a safety culture, and increase your value to those you work with and to the patients we serve.
