22nd WFUMB COE AND 17th AFSUMB WORKSHOPS

World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology [WFUMB] has established its First Center of Education [COE] in Dhaka in 2004. The 22nd WFUMB COE Workshop will be held at the NINMAS Auditorium, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Shahbagh, Dhaka on 1 & 2 March 2019, Friday & Saturday. Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology [AFSUMB] organizes AFSUMB Workshops in its member countries. The 17th AFSUMB Workshop will be held on 1 & 2 March 2019 along with the WFUMB COE Workshop.

It is a ‘Leading Edge Ultrasound’ program. A number of areas will be covered i.e. [a] Fetal Anomalies Ulrasound, [b] Gynecologic Ultrasound, [c] Hepatobiliary and Spleen Ultrasound, [d] Lung Ultrasound, [e] Renal Ultrasound, [f] Transrectal Ultrasound, [c] Neck Ultrasound, [g] Fusion Imaging & Photoacoustic Imaging, [h] Contrast Ultrasound [i] Elastography. A number of ‘Patient and Probe’ Sessions will be operated by the Foregn Faculty and a Competent Local Faculty.

Prof. S. H. Kim-WFUMB President Elect, Prof. W. J. Lee-AFSUMB President, Prof. Y. L. Wan-AFSUMB President Elect, Prof. Kanu Bala-AFSUMB Constitution Committee Chairman, Prof. K. Y. Leung-AFSUMB Education Committee Chairman, Prof. S. Gokhale-AFSUMB Education Committee Member, Prof. Sien-Sing Yang-AFSUMB Member are going to join the workshops as Resource Personnel.
