At 7 weeks, the growing baby now measures about 10 mm long and can be measured from head to bottom – the crown-rump length (Fig 2a and Fig 2b).
This measurement is the most important one in assessing the size and growth of the baby in the first 12 weeks. You will be able to measure the baby on the ultrasound scan.
