Benign focal liver lesions are typically hyperenhancing in the portal venous and late phases of contrast enhanced ultrasound. Here we demonstrate a typically hyperenhancing hemangioma with peripheral nodular contrast enhancement and next to the hemangioma also a focal nodular hyperplasia with central arterial blood supply (contrast injection of Sonovue™ using the Aixplorer.
