- I graduated MB CHB from Dundee university Scotland, UK 1990
- Obtained full registration at GMC in 1991
- Completed full residency in South-West Radiology training program in Bristol and became the First Omani Radiologist to obtain the FRCR UK in 1998
- Obtained the Certificate of completion of Specialist training in Radiology, UK 2001
- Completed One year fellowship in Abdominal Radiology at McMaster University in 2002-2003
- Founding member and former program Director of Oman Residency Radiology training program
- Founding Member and former President of Oman Radiology and molecular imaging Society
- Founding Member and current president of Oman society of ultrasound in medicine
- Chairman of Radiology technical committee in Ministry of Health, Oman
- Chairman of organizing committee for The ISR Congress in Oman 2020 (cancelled due to Covid Pandemic)
